The DARKEST HOUR is the story of five young people who find themselves stranded in Moscow, fighting to survive in the wake of a devastating alien attack. The 3D thriller highlights the classic beauty of Moscow alongside mind-blowing special effects.
After Katrina Kaif’s objection to don a bikini and smooch Aamir Khan in ‘Dhoom 3’, the banner is now thinking to cast a Hollywood hottie. Three names were shortlisted and they are Penelope Cruz, Natalie Portman and Eva Longoria. Yash Raj wants to woo the international audience also and one of the safest ways to attract global audience is to cast a Hollywood heroine.
A source says, "The names you mention are definitely in the list. Yashraj has never worked with an international star in any of its films. The production house has now decided to take the Dhoom franchise to a global level.
One safe and effective way of going global would be the casting of a Hollywood hottie." A formal announcement is expected to follow soon.
Confirming the same, Yashraj's official spokesperson says, "Yes, as of now some new international options are being considered."
Let’s see who among the three hotties will make their Bollywood debut with 'Dhoom 3'.
If rumors are to be believed then, superstar Salman Khan will be soon seen playing the famous baddie character Mogambo from the 1987’s ‘Mr. India,’ in the film’s imminent sequel, which is to be produced by Boney Kapoor.
As per reports, filmmaker Boney Kapoor has already approached Salman for the role, and it’s learnt that the hunk is all game to step into the boots of late Amrish Puri, the renowned actor who had played Mogambo in the original flick.
Talking about approaching Salman for the negative role in his film, Boney said, “I have spoken to Salman about the idea and he is kicked about it. I want only him for the negative lead. But we need to finish the script and show him. I will be roping in international experts to create a very menacing look for him.”
It’s a story that would touch anyone’s heart — Rohan Rathore, an IIT-Guwahati student, loved a girl who didn’t reciprocate his feelings. He composed a heart-wrenching number for her and died of cancer 15 days later. The song, titled Emptiness, became a rage online, with around 15 lakh views and eight dedicated Facebook groups with thousands of fans. However, there is a hitch. Apparently, Rohan Rathore does not exist. Gajendra Verma, a 21-year-old sound recordist from Mumbai, says that he has sung the song, written by Aseem Ahmed Abbasee, a writer, and Verma’s friend, Monami Roy.
To counter the Rohan Rathore story, Verma will be releasing the complete album with six songs next month, and has already posted the song on YouTube, with a slideshow of his pictures. “I had composed the tune for a project one-and-a-half years ago. I had sent the song to some people for feedback, and I think it got leaked then,” says Verma.
Reacting to allegations that he and Aseem cooked up this story to publicise the song and increase downloads, he says, “Why would I publicise my song using someone else’s name?” He adds, “I feel really bad when I see someone else’s name on my song. I don’t even know how Rohan Rathore’s name got attached to it. I know that the voice is mine.” Aseem Abbasee, the lyricist, says he is unaware about the Rohan Rathore story. “I wrote this song when Gajendra approached me for it. Its unfortunate that it got stolen and people attached a false story with it.”
Shortly after the song became popular, fans got curious. Sumit Lal wrote, “I finally dug out the story. No one at IIT-G knows who Rathore is.” “People like the song because of the story behind it,” read another comment.
The heart touching lyrics goes like : Tune mere jaana, kabhi nahi jana, ishq mera dard mera.
